Bellevue Headache Clinic joins Haven Headache & Migraine Center

Starting August 17, 2026, Bellevue Headache Clinic becomes part of Haven Headache & Migraine Center.

Dr. Shirin Issa, a dedicated headache neurologist, will continue seeing her patients by telemedicine, with a full specialty care team behind her.

This brings Haven’s innovative care model to Washington – and puts Dr. Issa’s expertise within reach of more patients.

Haven’s mission is simple: Get people with headache and migraine to the right specialist, much faster, with enhanced care.

Why this matters

Haven connects those suffering with headache and migraine with more accessible and timely care, the most experienced specialists, and expanded support options.

Dr. Issa built Bellevue Headache Clinic on her own, successfully treating hundreds of patients and transforming people’s lives in the process. And she’s not going anywhere. You will continue to see her by telemedicine, just as you do today. Your treatment plan, your prescriptions, and your care all continue without interruption.

Joining Haven adds a whole new layer of support and service to Dr. Issa’s already exceptional patient care. Haven expands how patients are supported  – between visits, with urgent care needs, and with expanded services.

“Caring for the headache community in Washington has been the privilege of my career. Joining Haven means I get to keep doing what I do best, caring for my patients. I will continue working with the headache community in WA, welcoming new patients and continuing to see my existing ones.”

— Dr. Shirin Issa, Headache Neurologist

Why Haven

Haven exists to do one thing well: headache and migraine care.

“Every person who joins Haven brings the same thing. Deep expertise and a real understanding of what migraine costs someone, day to day. Dr. Issa has spent her career on exactly that. Bringing her specialty and her patients into a full care model means more people get seen sooner, treated by someone who already knows headache medicine, not someone learning it on the side.”

— Dr. Nada Hindiyeh, Chief Medical Officer, Haven Headache & Migraine Center

Haven’s clinical leadership is fellowship-trained in headache medicine. The people who built Haven understand migraine firsthand, not just from the outside.

What happens next

Current Bellevue Headache Clinic patients receive a direct notice with full details on the transition, including how to reach the new team and how to request medical records if needed. No action is required before then. Upcoming appointments stay as scheduled.
